Vega and her younger sister Billie are going on a night hike in the Norwegian woods with their dad. The expected trip is full of sweet adventures and happy moments until her dad falls into a mountain crevice, sprains her ankle and, unable to move, asks Vega and Billie to go get help. Initially the girls feel lost, but after several magical and mysterious encounters in the forest, they accept the mission. They bravely face their fears, discover their superpowers, and find strength in sisterhood!
Salomonsen is a Norwegian actress, musician, and film director known for her work in films such as Now It's Dark, It's Only Make Believe, and Monsterthursday—the first Norwegian film to compete at Sundance. Ommundsen has directed Mongoland, Monsterthursday, Rat Nights, short films, commercials and music videos before making the final installment of the Twigson trilogy.
